Tell Us About Your Property
Provide a few basic details about the property, including the size, number of distribution boards, roof-space access and what you need inspected.
Confirm the Inspection
We review the information provided and confirm the appropriate inspection package and starting price before the inspection.
Electrical Inspection & Testing
Our electrician attends the property and assesses the accessible electrical installation, carrying out the relevant visual checks and testing within the agreed scope.
Findings & Next Steps
We explain any issues identified during the inspection. Where remedial work is required, we can provide a separate quotation for the necessary repairs or upgrades.
Remedial Work & Compliance
Once the quotation has been accepted, we carry out the necessary remedial work to the electrical installation. The required changes are made with the aim of bringing the installation into compliance with the applicable requirements of SANS 10142, subject to the scope of work and existing installation conditions.
Final Testing & Certification
Once the required work has been completed, the installation is tested again. Where applicable, the relevant Certificate of Compliance can then be issued once the installation satisfies the required inspection and testing criteria.
Transparent Pricing and Property Packages
Our electrical inspection pricing is structured according to the size of the property, number of distribution boards, roof-space access and the expected time required to complete the inspection.
The prices shown below are starting prices for the electrical inspection only. The inspection fee covers the professional assessment and testing of the accessible electrical installation within the agreed scope.
Repairs, remedial work, replacement components, upgrades and additional electrical work are not included in the inspection price. If issues are identified during the inspection, we will explain the findings and provide a separate quotation for any required work.
